Cal and I want to make Jameswood's restoration as eco-friendly as possible. We are so excited to have found Scottish Wood as our timber supplier for the project! Not only is all of their timber sustainably forested and usually sourced from within a 50 miles radius of the mill. They are ALSO a not for profit organisation, working with Dynamic Woods Charity, they help support local communities, environmentalists, landowners and local businesses to promote sustainable development of our woodland resources! By supporting them, we are able to responsibly source our timber AND help secure the future of our woodlands, boost local economy and create genuine local employment and training opportunities! |
